Welcome

The Infrastructure Systems Research Lab was founded by Dr. Brent ByungHoon Kang in 2004 and currently consists of two full-time PhD students, two masters students, and three undergraduate students. In seeking to improve infrastructure systems and make them more secure and usable for various infrastructure applications, our research is currently focused in the following areas:

• Malware/Botnet Analysis, Enumeration and Mitigation
• Domain Name/Registry Introspections
• Email Infrastructure/Sender Reputation Systems
