Average reputation of a geographic location is the average reputation of all IP addresses at the same location (latitude - longitude pair).
  • A 'red' dot [least reputable location] indicates average reputation < 0.3.
  • A 'yellow' dot [medium reputable location] indicates 0.3 <= average reputation < 0.7.
  • A 'green' dot [most reputable location] indicates average reputation >= 0.7.
The above geographic distribution shows the reputation computed from one of the 10 mail servers providing IP based reputation statistics since April 2008. RepuScore computed reputation for about 840,366 IP addresses. This corresponded to about 33,000 geographic locations ([latitude, longitude] pairs). You can find geographic statistics and other statistics in the results section.

RepuScore is a collaborative reputation management framework over email infrastrucure, which allows participating organizations to establish sender accountability on the basis of senders' past actions. RepuScore's generalized design can be deployed with any Sender Authentication technique such as SPF, SenderID and DKIM. With RepuScore, participating organizations collect information on sender reputation locally from users or existing spam classification mechanisms and submit it to a central RepuScore authority. The central authority generates a global reputation summary which can be used to enforce sender accountability. 

RepuScore is capable of thwarting Sybil Attacks where a single attacker subverts the reputation system by creating a large number of pseudonymous entities, using them to gain a disproportionately large influence. A reputation system's vulnerability to a Sybil attack depends on how cheaply identities can be generated, the degree to which the reputation system accepts inputs from entities that do not have a chain of trust linking them to a trusted entity, and whether the reputation system treats all entities identically.
